My Story: The Inspiration Behind Let There Be Art
I started "Let There Be Art" to offer a truly unique and memorable paint and sip experience—complete with quirky, one-of-a-kind artwork selections, and a creative structure designed to keep the energy fun and inspiring. My goal was to add a twist to the traditional paint and sip by bringing in a fresh style, full of colour, charm, and expert guidance, ensuring every participant leaves feeling accomplished and joyful.
As a qualified commercial designer and art director with a Bachelor’s degree and over 18 years in the creative industry, my career took flight after winning the D&AD Award, launching me into diverse niches—from commercial design to digital art, illustration, UX/UI, and web design. Yet, as much as I love the digital realm, there’s nothing quite like holding a paintbrush, feeling the textures, and bringing vibrant art to life on canvas.
Hosting these sessions is my passion—it’s about letting go, having fun, and discovering the artist within. My classes are lively and relaxed, designed for everyone, from beginners to seasoned artists. Each painting you’ll work on is created by me, your energetic and artistic guide. I love nothing more than helping people surprise themselves with what they can create.
